Our instructors have unique and diverse educations; each having graduated from different massage schools and pursuing years of individualized training and as such, each brings their unique knowledge base, perspective, and experience to the classroom.
This gives our students the rare opportunity to a true melting pot of expertise and knowledge – offering a broad and encompassing practical education that cannot be learned from a book.
briana low, lmt, bs
Briana graduated from the Healing Arts Institute in Fort Collins, Colorado in 1998. Certified in Body Insight Neuromuscular Therapy and in Pain Pattern & Solutions, Briana specializes in pain relief utilizing Neuromuscular re-education, Trigger Point, and other deep tissue techniques. Briana holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology she received from Colorado State University in 1992. For over 23 years she has successfully balanced dual careers as a practicing Massage Therapist and Microbiologist. With a sincere passion for the Healing Arts and Sciences, Briana brings a unique perspective and knowledge base to Infinity School of Massage. Briana teaches the Science based curriculum as well as the Deep Tissue Series. When not working, Briana loves to be outside with her dogs, family and friends in the hills, desert, river, gardening, or anything outside enjoying our beautiful planet.
Dr. Jed Adamson, N.D., C.Ac, LMT
Dr. Jed Adamson has quite a diverse background, accomplished in both Eastern and Western studies of Medicine. An accident ended his 20-year career as an Advanced E.M.T. but opened the door to his current passion where he enjoys a flourishing practice as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, and Certified Acupuncturist. Dr. Jed graduated from Myotherapy College of Utah as a Certified Massage Therapist, and then received his Dr. of Naturopathic Medicine from Westbrook University and Central States College of Health Sciences, and Certified Acupuncturist from International Academy of Medical Acupuncture. Dr. Jed is Director of Intermountain College of Natural Health where he treats patients and teaches a variety of Natural Health courses. Jed’s passion and expertise is in Eastern Philosophy and joint mobilization and he will be teaching Asian Theory, Tui na, and Applied Kinesiology.
John Scherwitz, lmt, B.A.
John Scherwitz has been practicing massage and bodywork since 2017 after graduating from Phoenix School of Massage based out of Houston, Texas. Prior to that, John worked as a Fitness Trainer where he focused on Functional Fitness and a holistic approach to fitness and health. With regards to massage, John acquired a specialty certification in Sports Massage through NCBTMB and is also a IASTM certified practitioner (scraping). John has had training in modalities such as Gua Sha, Deep Tissue, Cupping, Trigger Point Therapy, and learned Traditional Thai Yoga massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand. In addition to all this, John graduated from Boise State University with a BA in Interdisciplinary Professional Studies with an emphasis on leadership studies and skills. Currently, John works out of a studio in Boise where he sees clients from all backgrounds. John teaches our Sports Massage program.
Regina Wray, lmt
If you’ve been around the magic valley massage world for long, there’s a good chance you have met Regina. Regina began her massage therapy career in 2005 and has made quite a name for herself. Graduating from Twin Falls Institute of Holistic Studies in 2005, Regina found her ideal career working as a massage therapist. She has a plethora experience working in a variety of massage therapy environments including chiropractic offices, spas, and Regoma has been a solid fixture at Massage@Miracle for over 17 years. Regina also runs a private practice working on clients in her hometown of Buhl, ID. When asked what her passion is within the massage profession, she is unable to answer because she absolutely loves it all. If we were running a baseball team, Regina would be our utility player – she is willing and able to teach any part of the program.
Renda ware, lmt, ba
Renda has practiced massage therapy for 5 years and is currently a practicing therapist at Eastland Chiropractic in Twin Falls, ID. She is a graduate of the Intermountain College of Natural Health in massage therapy. And has advanced certifications in several modalities including Naprapathy, Auricular Therapy, and Muscle/Meridian Balancing. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Idaho State University in 1993. Renda is a 2006 Fellow of the Boise State Writing Project. After a 20-year career of public teaching, Renda is delighted to be presented with the opportunity to teach Basic Massage, Ethics, and Business classes at Infinity School of Massage.
Karen Roberts, lmt
Karen graduated from the Asten Center of Massage in White Hall, Montana and has been practicing massage for over 20 years. Over the course of her career Karen has worked in various Chiropractic, spa, private practice, and resort settings from Boise to Warm River, Idaho. With a love for learning, Karen has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education including 2 years of study with the International Sound Academy, studies of the PPS Structural Integration system, and other modalities of massage and energy work. A certified Sound Healer, Karen expertly integrates sound, energy, and advanced pain relief techniques into massage sessions. She has worked as a massage therapist at Miracle Hot Springs in Buhl Idaho for the past 7 years. Karen also works from her home office providing sound and massage sessions. Also a Master Chef, Karen spends her summers cooking at a beautiful Fly-Fishing Ranch in Eastern Idaho. Karen loves the outdoors and if she’s not working, you’ll find her in her garden, hiking a trail with Bubby- her chocolate lab, kayaking, or meditating under a tree somewhere. We are so fortunate to have such a highly credentialed Master Energy worker for our Energy instructor.
Jane Olsen, LMT, MA
Jane Olsen has been a practicing Massage Therapist for 25 years. She graduated from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe, Arizona then moved back to her home in Idaho to begin her practice at Miracle Hot Springs.
Jane is the owner of Massage at Miracle; a thriving massage practice which employs 11 massage therapists including her. Jane specializes in hands on energetic balancing creating a unique massage experience by expertly combining energetic modalities tailored to fit the client’s needs. Jane graduated from the Institute of Business and Medical Technology as a medical assistant specializing in sports medicine and is also a certified Emergency medical technician in Idaho and Utah. Jane provides opportunities for our students transitioning between graduation and licensing; offering paid internships and potential opportunity for employment.
Barbara Kerley
Barbara Kerley has been practicing massage therapy for 35 years. Starting out as a performing arts major, she moved from Twin Falls to Boise in 1985 where she discovered the Idaho School of Massage and became intrigued with the healing arts. She moved to Colorado and began working in the Physical Therapy field as a Physical Therapy Aid/CMT for 10 years. A move to Washington State gave opportunity to attend Renton Technical College and graduated in 1999 to gain her license. She has had affiliations with Physical Therapy, Chiropractic and spa industries through Idaho, Colorado, Washington, and Oregon and has taught massage classes at Central Oregon Community College while also working on degrees in Exercise Science (AS) and Physical Activity and Health (BS). Her passions in bodywork include lymphatics, Swedish Massage, Craniosacral, Reiki/energy, and Sound healing.
